Equity Compensation Amid Regulation, Shareholder Activism, and Tax Reform
Wednesday, June 13, 2018
10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET
The entire field of compensation is changing, and equity compensation is an area of significant flux. Some of this change is from regulation, some from shareholders, and some from tax reform. There are changes that make the use of equity compensation easier and changes that make it much harder. Whatever the cause, it’s affecting proxy disclosure and financial reporting alike.
Join us to learn about the external forces driving change in the use of equity and executive compensation. Webcast attendees will gain an understanding of these complex developments and their potential impact, including:
- The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act
- CEO pay ratio disclosure
- Revisions to nonemployee accounting
- Revisions to modification accounting
- Emerging ESG (environmental, social, and governance) pressures
As part of the webcast, via a live survey, attendees will also gain insight into topics such as tax withholding and award design changes due to tax reform. (Later, we’ll provide attendees with a brief report of the survey results.) Since we average hundreds of participants on webcasts, the results of our live polling will provide significant insights for all who attend.
